Speaking of discovery …the last day of our visit, we were taken to the splendid Mövenpick resort on the Dead Sea: If you have thought that you’d experienced all physical sensations as a child growing up, well try this: Floating on the Dead Sea is an experience where every adult becomes a child again! It is like discovering a completely new sensation. The water has such density that our body literally lies ON top of the water. Trying to do the breast stroke ends most of the time in an involuntary swap onto the back, while it was quite fun to try to stretch our legs out of the water and grab our knees without rolling over like a beach ball or a balloon. Oh, the laughs we had … a very appropriate, wonder-filled way to end a delightful stay in Jordan.
